Iniationware GmbH was founded in 2020 and is based in Lohne (Oldenburg) — in the middle of one of the most industrial regions in northern Germany.

How we work

We are deliberately a small, highly specialised team and work in projects with a solid partner network of automation and component manufacturers. Our work ranges from mid-sized family businesses to corporate environments.

We sell neither controllers nor third-party licences. That is not modesty — it is the reason we can also tell you that a step does not pay off.

We bill on value, in clearly cut steps — not on timesheets.

Klaus Landsdorf

Co-founder, managing director and sole owner since 2024

M.Sc. in media informatics, with more than 20 years of experience at the interface of operational and information technology. That expertise is not theoretical:

  • Maintainer since 2017 of one of the most used open-source OPC UA libraries for Node-RED
  • Active in the OPC Foundation working groups since 2013
  • Where the standards are written that we then deploy at your site

A family business from Lohne

iniationWARE is a family business. The idea began in 2018 in the spare time of Thomas Mönnich and Klaus Landsdorf — brothers-in-law and later co-founders. They founded the company in 2020.

Administration is handled by Sabine Landsdorf — Thomas's sister and Klaus's wife. Since August 2025, Malte Landsdorf (born 2009) has also been part of the company.

Training and young talent locally

Skilled people do not appear by themselves. We train apprentices, host interns, and cover topics such as robotics, AI, quantum computing and data science so that the real value and the possible career path become clear — not just the buzzword.

2021

IT apprenticeship

Since 2021, iniationWARE has trained IT specialists (Fachinformatiker) — practice on real projects, not only textbook theory.

2022

School and university internships

Since 2022 we offer internships for school pupils and university students who want a realistic look at IT careers.

2023

IHK and vocational school in Lohne

Since 2023, Klaus Landsdorf has examined IT specialists in application development for the IHK Oldenburg and teaches a few hours at the vocational school in Lohne — so that vocational schooling for application development can take place locally.

Volunteering and culture in the region

Culture needs people who carry it. The Landsdorf family has volunteered at the Freilichtbühne Lohne theatre since 2004 and at Theaterverein Bokern-Märschendorf since 2011.

iniationWARE supports both associations again and again — as cultural assets of the region. In 2026 the Freilichtbühne Lohne turns 75; Theaterverein Bokern-Märschendorf, founded in 1991, marks 35 years.
