Cobots that add up
before you order

We do not deliver robot arms but cells: gripper, safety, conveying and connectivity. Palletising is the main application. Cycle time and layout are proven in 3D before an order is placed.

Describe your task
Palletising cell with a DOBOT CR20A cobot on a lift column: two infeed conveyors carrying cartons, a vacuum gripper on the arm, a finished pallet alongside.

DOBOT and ABB

Two cobot lines, one way of working. DOBOT is our default in palletising: price-performance, reach and the DACH partner network. ABB GoFa where kinematics, reach or your existing robot fleet argue for it. Plainly: with ABB we have done 3D projects and feasibility studies so far, no cell in operation yet. If you are the first, we say so up front and price it accordingly.

Three things we do differently

01

Applications, not devices

A cobot on its own takes over no task. We deliver the cell: a gripper, a safety concept, conveying and the connection to your systems. In palletising, layer patterns per product come with it.

02

Validated in 3D

Cycle time, layout and bottlenecks are simulated in Visual Components before an order is placed. At that stage changes cost nothing; afterwards they cost weeks.

03

Connected from day one

Every cell reports over OPC UA into the same data foundation as your machines. Availability, output and faults are analysable from day one, not after a follow-up project.

02

Applications

Palletising is the main application. Machine tending, welding, screwdriving and inspection are the fields DOBOT and ABB currently push hardest.

03

What DOBOT and ABB currently put first

The overlap in current marketing: palletising, machine tending, welding, screwdriving. Palletising remains the application for which we have cells in operation.

Main application

Palletising

DOBOT with the CR20A column and CR30H, including a food-grade variant. ABB with GoFa — reach for Euro pallets — and its own palletising template.

DOBOT · ABB

Machine tending

DOBOT CNC tending with an external axis. ABB GoFa plus a machine-tending template, up to the OmniVance cell.

DOBOT · ABB

Welding

DOBOT Welding Process Package for arc and laser. ABB Cobot Arc Welding Package on GoFa. We plan this in 3D when the task fits.

DOBOT · ABB

Screwdriving and assembly

DOBOT screwdriving stations. ABB names assembly and screwdriving alongside palletising and machine tending as core GoFa applications.

Frequently asked about cobots

Do you only do palletising?

Palletising is the main application and the cell we have in operation. Machine tending, welding, screwdriving and inspection we plan when the task fits — those are the fields DOBOT and ABB currently show most strongly.

From what volume does a palletising cell pay off?

That depends less on volume than on shift model and weight per pick. The honest route is the 3D feasibility study: send us product, container dimensions, cycle time and layer pattern, and you get arithmetic instead of a guess.

Do we need a safety fence?

Not necessarily. Cobots allow collaborative operation depending on the application, but payload, gripper and speed decide. The safety concept is part of the cell and is fixed with the risk assessment, not bolted on afterwards.

Why DOBOT and ABB?

DOBOT because the price-performance ratio works in palletising and the range brings the right reach and payload. ABB GoFa where kinematics or your existing fleet argue for it. That is not vendor lock-in: where a different kinematic fits better, we say so.

Do we get data out of the cell?

Yes, from day one and over OPC UA. Availability, output, faults and cycle times flow into iniationOS or into your existing MES, without a follow-up project.

Does a cobot pay off for you?

Send us your task: product, cycle time, installation space. For palletising, add container dimensions and layer pattern. You get a first assessment and, if it fits, a 3D feasibility study.
